Description

One of the most famous names in the Royal Navy, associated with both the epic action alongside H.M.S. Victory at Trafalgar and with Turner s famous painting, Temeraire was launched at Chatham in 1798. In contrast to her later career, her first day under sail, seen here, was calm and peaceful.
